External Alarm Equipment: DC24V, power not more than 15W
IV. Functional Principles
This telegraph system is a multi-microcontroller system. Both the transmitter and receivers are independent microcontroller systems. The transmitter and receivers use RS485 serial interface format to exchange data, realizing the sending and receiving of engine orders. Functions such as out-of-step alarm position display for the transmitter and receivers are completed by their respective microcontroller systems; however, the message transmission function of the system does not go through the microcontroller.
4.1 Power Supply: This telegraph is powered by two power sources. One is AC220V as the main power supply, and the other is DC24V as the auxiliary power supply. The two power sources are connected to the contacts of the power conversion relay after passing through the filter. When the main power supply is normal, the contactor operates, and the main power supply powers the system, while the backup power supply does not. When the main power supply fails, the auxiliary power supply powers the system through the normally closed contacts of the contactor.
When the main power supply fails, the main power indicator of the transmitter goes out and a sound alarm is issued at the same time. This alarm can be silenced. The alarm sound stops and the indicator light lights up after the main power supply is restored.
4.2 Engine Order Transmission: The transmitter sends the required order information to the receivers through the RS485 port, and reads the current position information of the receivers at the same time; the transmitter displays the position status based on the above two types of information and determines whether to issue an out-of-step alarm.
The receiver compares the information from the transmitter with its own information to determine the displayed position status and whether to issue an out-of-step alarm.
4.3 Out-of-Step Alarm: When the detected required order position is inconsistent with the current position, both the transmitter and the receivers will emit sound and light alarms. At this time, the transmitter and receivers flash the current required order position, and display the current position with steady light. At the same time, the transmitter buzzer alarms, the central control room receiver buzzer alarms; the local receiver external alarm equipment alarms.
4.4 Message Transmission: According to the agreed standard for pressing the message transmission button, all receivers and transmitters will alarm, and the alarm format is consistent with the format of the pressed message transmission button; the message transmission button control is not controlled by the microcontroller, and the message transmission function can still be realized even if the microcontroller system fails.
4.5 Wrong Direction Alarm: When the telegraph position is inconsistent with the main engine steering direction, the local receiver will emit sound and light alarms. This alarm is installed on the local receiver.
4.6 Alarm Silence: When the transmitter buzzer alarms, the silence button can be used to silence the alarm.
4.7 Extended Alarm: Both the transmitter and receivers can provide passive normally open contact alarm signals externally.
4.8 Operating Position Conversion: A receiving position conversion switch is set on the local receiver, which is used to switch between the local position returning orders to the transmitter and the central control room receiver returning orders to the transmitter. The position status will not be changed when converting the order returning location. The receiver in the order returning state can perform order returning operations and issue an alarm when out of step; while the receiver not in the order returning state cannot perform order returning operations or issue out-of-step alarms, and only duplicates the current required order position and the current position.
4.9 Information Upload: It uses RS485 communication mode to provide equipment requiring telegraph information with messages conforming to the IEC61162 standard.
4.10 Dimming Function: A dimming button is provided on the transmitter panel. Pressing the dimming button can cyclically adjust the brightness of all indicator lights on the panel in 8 levels.
4.11 Duplication Function: When the receiver is in the duplication state, it displays the current position with steady light, flashes the required order position, displays the position with steady light when synchronized, and does not issue an out-of-step alarm when out of step.
V. Usage Methods
Connect the equipment cables according to the cable connection diagram, then turn on the power. The power lights of the telegraph transmitter and receivers will light up, both displaying the stop position, and the operating position indicates the current selector switch position.
1. Press the transmitter gear button. Both the transmitter and receivers will flash the required order position sent by the transmitter, and display the current position of the receivers with steady light. The transmitter and the receiver in the order returning state will issue an out-of-step alarm. Press the button on the receiver that is the same as the required order position, and the alarm of the transmitter and receivers will stop; the receiver in the duplication state will not make an alarm sound.
2. When out of step, the alarm sound can be silenced through the silence button on the transmitter, and the receiver cannot silence the alarm.
3. When it is necessary to convert the receiving position, press the operating position selection switch on the local receiver to select the location. The current position status will not be changed during selection.
4. When the main power supply fails, the main power indicator of the transmitter goes out and the buzzer issues an alarm. You can press the silence button to silence the alarm; the receiver will not issue a power failure alarm. After the main power supply is restored, the power indicator lights up and the buzzer stops alarming.
VI. Maintenance
This system does not require special maintenance.
VII. Troubleshooting
1. The transmitter does not work after power on
(1) First check whether the power supply is normal. If the power supply is abnormal, repair the power supply and then turn on the power to make the system enter the working state;
(2) If the power supply is normal, check whether the fuse is good. Replace the fuse if it is blown to make the system enter the working state;
(3) If the above are normal, check whether the power conversion relay and its operating position are normal. Replace the relay if it is abnormal.
(4) If the relay is normal, detect the output of the switching power supply. The output voltage of the switching power supply should be DC24V. Replace the switching power supply if it is not.
(5) If the switching power supply is normal, replace the control board.
2. The receiver does not work after power on
(1) Check whether the receiver power supply is normal, the power supply is DC24V. If the power supply is incorrect, check the power cord.
(2) If the cable is correct, replace the corresponding receiver control board.
3. Incorrect order transmission
(1) If neither receiver can receive the required order, replace the transmitter control board.
(2) If a certain receiver cannot receive the required order, replace the receiver control board.
